Former patients chare their experiences with Overlook Hospital.

I wanted to take this opportunity to let you know how impressed I was with Overlook Hospital. My six-year-old son, Richard, was treated there a few months ago for a head injury that required stitches to his eye and above his nose. The entire staff was exceptional. The nurses were phenomenal and helped me through a very traumatic event, and the physicians exhibited great professionalism and patience and were truly remarkable. I cannot begin to tell you how thankful I am to all of them. You should feel honored to have such wonderful people working under your guidance. They are an honor to their professions.

I was hospitalized at Overlook in June after suffering a stroke at home. I was placed in the Neuro Intensive Care Unit for five days and was given the best possible care while staying there. The right side of my body was paralyzed, but the nurses and student nurses were there to assist me and comfort me. They were outstanding in every way, helping me with chores I could no longer do on my own. Today, I am nearly 100 percent healed, and I give Overlook the highest ratings for the care I received.
